Veronica is a cornerstone of minimal synth music. She has reissued countless obscure records through her ‘Minimal Wave’ imprint, and has continued their legacy via releases on her techno leaning ‘Cititrax’ label.

On this mix, she runs through the underground sounds of Japan in the 1980’s, touching on New Wave, electro-industrial and post-punk. This is a proper trip through the meat grinder of obscure industrial music, and if you enjoyed it, you’ll be pleased to know that her DJ output is almost as staggering as that of her labels, especially having started a new residency on the excellent NTS Radio in 2021.
